Bergen County Parents started with a simple frustration: finding out what's actually worth doing with your kids in this county means digging through a dozen town Facebook groups, three different Instagram accounts, and whatever your neighbor happens to mention at pickup. We wanted one place that pulled it together.
We're not a syndicated national site running local keywords for traffic. Everything here is written by people who actually live in Bergen County, dealing with the same kindergarten cutoffs and splash pad closures as everyone reading it. Where we can, we credit contributors by name — parents from Ridgewood, Tenafly, Hackensack, and everywhere in between who know their corner of the county better than we ever could from a desk.
